The client

India’s leading enterprise broadband and connectivity provider — competing against the country’s largest telecoms groups for a share of the rapidly growing enterprise connectivity market — had built strong infrastructure capabilities across MPLS, SD-WAN, and cloud connectivity, but was struggling to translate that infrastructure strength into traction in the large enterprise accounts representing the highest-value growth opportunity across India. Competing against well-resourced rivals with larger brand recognition required a precision account strategy that the business’s current go-to-market model was not equipped to deliver.

The problem

The broadband provider’s enterprise sales challenge was compounded by the difficulty of identifying which large corporate accounts across India were actively evaluating connectivity upgrades — and reaching the right decision-makers within those accounts with the right message at the right time. Without intent data infrastructure or an account-based marketing programme, the sales team was conducting largely undifferentiated outreach into a market where the business’s best opportunities were indistinguishable from hundreds of accounts not actively in a buying process.

  • Limited Traction in Large Indian Enterprise Accounts Despite Strong Capabilities — Despite possessing the technical capabilities and reliability track record needed to serve large enterprise connectivity requirements across India, the business was not converting those capabilities into active sales conversations with the enterprise accounts most likely to benefit from them — indicating a go-to-market gap rather than a product gap.
  • Competing Against Reliance and Airtel Without Differentiated Account Positioning — In a market dominated by Reliance Jio, Airtel, and other large telecoms groups in India, competing solely on technical specification or price was insufficient. The business needed differentiated account-level positioning articulating its specific advantages — reliability, service quality, flexibility — in the commercial language of each target account’s IT leadership.
  • No Visibility into Which Indian Accounts Were Exploring Connectivity Upgrades — Without intent data infrastructure, the sales team had no mechanism to identify which Indian enterprise accounts were actively evaluating SD-WAN, MPLS replacement, or cloud connectivity solutions — making it impossible to prioritise outreach toward accounts in an active buying process.

OUR SOLUTION

Worxwide created account-level plans incorporating bandwidth demand analysis, IT budget intelligence, and buying centre mapping for each priority Indian enterprise account. Thought leadership playbooks were developed for key accounts and industries to build the business’s positioning as a connectivity intelligence partner. Factors.ai intent data was integrated to identify accounts actively researching SD-WAN, MPLS, and cloud connectivity solutions, and Salesworx.ai was deployed to run coordinated multi-channel nurture across email, LinkedIn, webinars, and direct sales call plays across India.

  • Account-Level Plans with Buying Centre Intelligence for Indian Enterprises — Detailed account plans — incorporating connectivity demand signals, IT budget analysis, and structured buying centre maps identifying CIO, CTO, and IT manager stakeholders — gave the sales team the account intelligence needed to approach enterprise connectivity conversations with the credibility and specificity that large Indian corporate decision-makers expected.
  • Intent Data Integration via Factors.ai for Active Indian Buyer Identification — ai intent data integration identified Indian enterprise accounts actively researching SD-WAN, MPLS, and cloud connectivity solutions in real time — enabling the sales team to focus outreach on accounts in active buying processes and maximise the return on sales effort through data-driven prioritisation.
  • Multi-Channel Nurture via Salesworx.ai and Thought Leadership Content — ai-powered multi-channel nurture sequences — coordinating email, LinkedIn, webinar invitations, and direct sales outreach across India — were supplemented with sector-specific thought leadership content positioning the broadband provider as a connectivity intelligence partner with CIO and CTO personas.
