The client

A mid-sized United States information technology services firm — with delivery capabilities spanning managed services, application development, and cloud infrastructure — had built significant institutional knowledge across its project delivery history, technical certifications, and client engagement experience. But that knowledge lived primarily in the minds of its people and the unstructured recesses of shared drives and legacy systems, creating operational risk, onboarding inefficiency, and the daily productivity cost of employees spending excessive time searching for information they knew the business possessed but could not easily locate.

The problem
